Doren and I have worked together for five years as elementary school teachers. After perusing her Keys to Learning, I was totally amazed by her step-by-step strategy prompts. They promote student independence with visual cues, break down academic tasks into essential steps, and provide instructions for how to teach the use of each key. As a teacher, I can refer my students to the Keys for Learning by title, for simple reminders to complete tasks with quality work.
