I provide consultations to educators and families regarding educational and parenting issues. My goal as an educator, coach and consultant is to share my insights and expertise through a collaborative model.

Please see my education page for more information about my experience, educational philosophy, and The AIM Technique. I offer consultation services at both project and hourly rates. Here are some suggestions for consultation services:
Families

Perhaps you are processing an educational decision such as a school or program placement. I can highlight important factors to consider, and play a role advocating for your child’s interests in school settings.
If you have a child with learning or behavioral challenges I can help you manage their needs in the home or school setting, I apply sound pedagogical data to solving problems, and can make practical recommendations for strategies and services that promote success.
I am familiar with the IEP (Individualized Education Program) process and I am a strong proponent of supported inclusion. I participate in parent-teacher conferences, review IEPs, and will attend your child’s IEP as a team player.
Homeschooling

I am the parent of a gifted child and I have experience with homeschooling as well as managing my child’s unique needs both inside and outside of the public school setting. I support the homeschooling model as an important and viable option for families, and encourage homeschooling group activities.
I consult with families regarding enhancing homeschooling for optimal success. As a certificated teacher I can help you boost your program model. If your child has special needs that require expert guidance, I can coach you on how to provide for their needs at home or through additional supports.
Educators

As a highly reflective educator, I have been developing my AIM technique for years. With the adoption of the common core standards, AIM is perfect for assisting students to become critical thinkers who use metacognitive strategies to evaluate and improve their own thinking.
I am eager to share AIM with educators and to coach educators on how to apply the principles of AIM to content, practical assignments and student growth. I provide individual consultations (online, via phone, and in person), as well as facilitate group collaborations that seek best practices to help students activate their own learning.
